Quite
a few surprises in that line-up from Jurgen Klopp, including the inclusion of
Mane. He was originally not expected to be back until after the international
break and even yesterday Klopp did not sound sure if he would be involved.
"Yesterday
(Thursday) it looked like he is ready for at least 20-25 minutes but we have to
wait to see how his body reacts to the session because for him it was pretty
intense - not because it was intense but because it was his first football
session for a long time," said the Liverpool boss.
"He did really well, he obviously didn't miss his abilities
or skills during the injury break, so that's good."
For
Liverpool, Mane makes an early return from injury to record his first
appearance since October 1.
And there's a
first Premier League start for summer signing Oxlade-Chamberlain, with
Henderson missing out with a thigh injury.
Mignolet captains the side while Klavan continues in defence
with Lovren on the bench. No Coutinho again due to injury
